    How the GEO audit works

    1. 1. Fetch the live page

Paste a public URL. We fetch the rendered page the way a crawler would, keeping the HTML, readable text, headings and metadata for checking.

    2. 2. Score seven stations

Real checks on access, structure, entities, answerability, evidence, schema and freshness light each station green, amber or red and set your GEO score.

    3. 123

      3. Get your fix route

Every failed check becomes a numbered task ranked by impact and effort, with an AI-written fix you can copy as Markdown or download as JSON.

    GEO audit questions

    What is GEO?

Generative engine optimization is the practice of making your content easy for AI assistants to find, understand and cite when they answer questions. It builds on SEO but rewards clear answers, evidence, structured data and visible entities.

How is the GEO score calculated?

Seven stations each run several deterministic checks on your page HTML and text. Station scores are weighted into a 0-100 score. Access and answerability weigh most. An AI reviewer only writes the suggested fixes, it does not set the score.

Which AI assistants does it reflect?

It does not query any assistant. It measures the page traits that AI answer engines generally rely on, such as crawlable text, clear structure and citable evidence. Use a visibility tracker to see actual mentions.

Why did my page fail the Access station?

Common causes are a non-200 status, a noindex directive, content that only appears after JavaScript runs, or very little visible text. AI crawlers often skip scripts, so render key content in the HTML.

    How often should I re-audit?

Re-audit after every meaningful edit and at least monthly for pages you want cited. Freshness signals decay, and competitors update their content, so keep your route green over time.
